Hannah completed her apprenticeship at the Kansas Humane Society while working through the levels of Greater Expectations. She enjoyed her time with the animals, but particularly liked using her creativity in the kitchen to make treats for the dogs and cats! She found the ability to self-direct her schedule each day to be a good fit for her working style.
After completing our program, now Hannah plans on completing high school! After graduating, she hopes to eventually start her own business making and selling cosmetics and other beauty products.
Hannah continues to meet the challenges of high school head-on and recently applied to her school’s Project Search program. She is excited about the opportunity to gain additional job skills and build her resume while exploring career options.
We’re so happy to see Hannah succeeding with meaningful employment and thankful to have had her in our program. We look forward to seeing where Hannah’s bright future takes her!
